The Valve Index is a virtual reality headset characterised by high image quality and precise tracking. A powerful computer and the use of external base stations are required for operation (outside-in tracking), which enables precise recording of movements.

We use the Valve Index in particular when visual detail, fast response times and complex interactions are required - for example in simulations or when visualising virtual environments. Features such as a wide field of vision, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and the option to customise the headset help create the most precise representation of the virtual space possible.

In our projects, the system is primarily used in applications that rely on precise tracking and a realistic user experience - including interactive training courses, data-based visualisations or simulation-based training scenarios.
